OVERALL
Our group editor constructed the above powerpoint in order to understand more about titling positions and times. From this, as script writer i learnt an awful lot in where each actor and director along with production companies should be placed. From looking at these film titles, it is clear to now see how often and when actors names, directors names and production line companies are presented on screen. Usually, the name of the film or the most well-known actor appears on screen first allowing the audience to see who is starring in the movie. The speed of the titles also depends on the type of genre or type of thriller. For example, the titles in SE7VEN come up about every three seconds but they stay presented on screen for about four seconds. This contrasts to the titles of The Rear Window which are continuously displayed until 1minute 30seconds on screen
